Background: |
GID1A is a gibberellin (GA) receptor ortholog of the rice GA receptor gene (OsGID1). It has GA-binding activity, showing higher affinity to GA4. It interacts with DELLA proteins in vivo in the presence of GA4. Arabidopsis has three gibberellin receptors, GIBBERELLIN INSENSITIVE DWARF1 A (GID1A, AT3G05120), GID1B (AT3G63010) and GID1C (AT5G27320). |
